First up is Brina Brady!
I’m a contemporary romance author who loves writing LGBTQ+ stories. My books often explore complex relationships and emotional journeys, with several series diving into BDSM dynamics. I also write MM romance without BDSM themes, focusing on engaging plots, well-developed characters, and plenty of steamy moments.
What do you love about writing Foggy Basin?
I like the small town and the characters who know each other.
Who are your characters for season three?
Carter and Ethan.
What can readers expect from your book?
They can expect a hard-earned HEA
What are your favourite tropes?
I love MM BDSM, Daddy/boy, hurt and comfort, and a newfound family. I don’t like sweet MF books.
Who are your favourite romance authors to read?
I read BDSM books, so I read those authors who write them.
Are you an early bird or night owl?
I prefer the night, but I also get up earlier than I should.
Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?
I drink coffee and water.
If you could transform into any animal, what would you choose and why?
A free horse who goes where he wants.
What do you snack on while you write?
I don’t really have a snack. But if I did, cheese and peanuts.
Do you have a writing routine? If so, please describe it
I find a picture of my characters and then write their biographies. The plot comes as I write.
What’s the best book you’ve read this year?
Actually a memoir: Bullies: A Friendship by Alex Abromovich. Fascinating.
