Today’s interview is with Kota Quinn
What do you love about writing Foggy Basin?
I’ve always been a sucker for small town romance, but the idea of a town that’s full of LGBTQ+ couples, allies, and cute shops?! Yes, please!
Who are your characters for season three?
Gideon is a 38 year old ex-bodyguard. He used to be in the military, and later gaurded celebrities, like my guys from rock band Arcade Lake. Now he’s settling down in a cute little cabin on his family’s beefarm.
He’s Filipino and the definition of tall, dark, and handsome.
Avery, is 27. He’s enthusiastic, passionate, and eager to start designing with his favorite fashion idol. He moved to Foggy Basin for this opportunity. But he’s not only building his career, he’s choosing his very own found family.
What can readers expect from your book?
My usual low angst, sweet and sexy vibes. Think cozy romance with heat and lots of swoon.
Who are your favourite romance authors to read?
Omg, so many!! Toby Wise, Saxon James, A.W. Scott, K.M. Neuhold, Morgan Lysand, Hailey Turner, RS McKenzie, and RM Niell, just to name a few.
What are your favourite tropes?
Okay, this one is tough. I loveeee reading a good enemies to lovers, yet I have a really hard time writing it. And I love writing second chances and insta love. But don’t like reading it as much as other tropes.
Also, give me all the heat!!

Both

All of the above?!?! But also iced coffee. 100%
If you could transform into any animal, what would you choose and why?
No idea. Maybe a beautiful cat that someone will spoil
What do you snack on while you write?
Iced coffee and hot cheetos, please.
Do you have a writing routine? If so, please describe it
Daydream, outline, daydream, throw words on the page, panic, listen to them on my kindle, self edit, send them to my editor and prays she does her magic, send it out into the world, panic, listen to it again and wonder how I wrote it, then finally calm down.
What’s the best book you’ve read this year?
Omg what?!?! Hmmm… oh! I really enjoyed a story from the Mayhem Season 2, Cryptids series. They come out this October, and they are…. fun!!
