NEWS and Friendy Friday with Annabeth Albert
Greetings and Salutations from Soggy California! I have NEWS to share, BUT FIRST I get to share with you the latest release from the incomparable Annabeth Albert!
Annabeth has been a huge support as I've moved along my authory journey. After I finished writing Hurricane Reese, I started to read some other MM romances and after falling in love with Brandon Witt's Then The Stars Fall, she was the second author I read. I started with Off Base, the first of the Out of Uniform series and I was in complete awe. Annabeth puts your emotions through the wringer and then carefully and lovingly delivers you to the other side with happily ever afters that will make you swoon. This is from my review of Off Base: "There was such an innocence to this story, despite the circumstances. That surprised me. I loved this couple and the way their story unfurled. The obstacles were real and the author does a good job of wrapping everything up. There were tears, but what good love story doesn't give you the feels first! I'll definitely be reading more by this author." And I have! I've now read this series in it's totality, I've read several of the Portland Heat series, and I'm currently jonesing for more Rainbow Cove as well as her upcoming series from Carina Press that's set in Alaska.
Rough Terrain was surprisingly touching, but that's the way it is with her books. I loved the way the story ended. At Attention and Wheels Up were my absolute favorite, but they were all phenomenal and WILL YOU GET A LOAD OF THOSE COVERS?!?! Best series covers, in my humble opinion.
