I know this year has taken the fight out of many of us, and it seems to have us up against the ropes, but I'm going to encourage you to still have hope. It's been a while since I've posted on the blog, but the wheels in my life have all been squeaky and any extra energy has gone into my writing. If you don't read the newsletter, you might not know that I've released a few books, written some short stories, and have been writing blog posts for Queeromance Ink and music reviews for HorrorAddicts.net. I've been teaching virtual school that will remain virtual even after COVID and for the first time in 12 years I've got middle schoolers. It's going well, the work-from-home life suits me, and other than the 2020s getting me down, I'm managing. Life must go on and I plan to continue teaching and writing as long as this body will allow it.
I promise I'll be back soon—as in next week—with good news, but until then, I'll share the only light I can…giveaways and scary stories. I hope you are all taking care of yourselves, whatever that looks like. I ran out for donuts and milk this morning and I lit a candle. I'll probably nap sometime today too. Whatever you need to do, take care and know that Ro loves you and appreciates you.
